The Forsaken Children Story, In a Nutshell…
Against the backdrop of majestic mountains, lush vegetation, and seemingly developed cities, sits Ethiopia: a nation pregnant with despair. A place so infected by poverty that frankly most visitors find themselves either completely smothered by it or finding some way to “tune it down” in their minds as a way to try and deal with it.
And tragically, it’s the children who suffer the most.
Often turning to the streets for their livelihood, to find acceptance, and inevitably to call home, literally millions of Ethiopia’s children are unwitting participants in a pandemic of multigenerational “streetism”.

This is why The Forsaken Children Fund and Children’s Home Ethiopia exist: To strategically break this cycle, and offer Ethiopia’s precious children a chance at a different future. A future apart from the streets. A future I take for granted — of shelter, nurture, and care. A future of hope.

Children’s Home Ethiopia (or CHE) represents the arms and legs of The Forsaken Children, in action in the streets of Ethiopia. They exist to rescue Ethiopia’s children at risk, insuring they remain in, or return to a loving home by providing holistic programs that meet their physical, emotional, developmental and spiritual needs.
There are two groups of children CHE works with:
- Children who are on the verge of “street-ism”. Such children spend their days on the streets but return to their guardians/homes at night. Preventing such children from becoming full-time street children is Children’s Home Ethiopia goal.
- Full-time street children. These children live on the streets of Addis Ababa both day and night. Restoring these children back to their childhood and families is Children’s Home Ethiopia’s goal. To achieve this, patient rehabilitation is needed.

“So What Is ‘The Forsaken Children Project‘?”
It’s a joint venture project between real estate investing industry leaders — an effort to rally our resources and collective influence to make a very real difference.
And let me be very, very clear: This is 100% about helping children. No ulterior motives, no hidden agendas, and no “fine print” or “catch”.
This is an open-book project, sponsored by a handful of real estate investing educators who believe Ethiopia’s forsaken children are worth investing in. How Only $20 Bucks Can Make a Very Real Difference in the Lives of Impoverished, Ethiopian Street Children…
The goal of this project is to generate at least $25,000 for TFC/CHE (The Forsaken Children / Children’s Home Ethiopia).
That may or may not sound like a lot to you. But ultimately it means we need only 1,250 charitable folks like you, compelled by a noble vision for helping these children and the valuable products offered here, to take advantage of this unique opportunity to “give and receive”.

“How Will My $20 Be Used?”
The money raised from this project will be specifically used to establish a new “Halfway Home” for girls in the heart of Ethiopia.
CHE is currently operating only one Halfway Home where both girls and boys reside. To truly be effective and safe, a second halfway home needs to be opened making one home for boys and one for girls. The amount needed to establish the opening of a girls Halfway Home and cover it’s expenses for the first year is almost exactly $25,000 — so that’s just what this project (and your $20 contribution) will be dedicated to doing.
The Halfway Home is the next step for children who have no family members or who are not welcomed by their family members. It’s part of a three-phase rehabilitation model to street children, and actually begins the process of integrating/reintegrating them into home life. But you can rest assured every penny raised for this project is being put to good use to directly benefit these children.
